Porém, antes de verificar a ortografia da sua tradução, você precisa primeiro instalar o dicionário ortográfico do idioma de destino. Veja como instalar e configurar os dicionários de verificação ortográfica no Xbench 3.0 e 2.9 a seguir.
Instalação de dicionários de verificação ortográfica no Xbench
Xbench 3.0
No Xbench 3.0, a versão paga da ferramenta da ApSIC e recomendada pela maioria das empresas e agências de tradução e localização, os 48 dicionários ortográficos disponibilizados pelo mecanismo Hunspell podem ser instalados com facilidade a partir da própria ferramenta.
- Em Tools, no menu superior, selecione Spell-Checking Dictionaries.
- Selecione os seus idiomas de trabalho a partir da lista e clique em Install. Depois, clique em Ok.
- Os dicionários instalados vão aparecer na aba QA, no Check Group Spell-checking. Na opção List of Checks, selecione o idioma da tradução que você deseja verificar.
Xbench 2.9
No Xbench 2.9, a versão grátis da ferramenta de QA, os dicionários precisam ser baixados e configurados manualmente. Nesta página, você encontra uma lista com todos os dicionários disponíveis para baixar direto do site da ApSIC.
- Clique no idioma que deseja instalar. Uma caixa de diálogo será aberta com a opção de salvar um arquivo em extensão .zip.
- Caso a caixa de diálogo não se abra automaticamente, com o botão direito do mouse, clique no idioma desejado e na opção Copiar endereço do link.
- Cole o link em outra aba ou janela do navegador. Isso forçará a abertura da caixa de diálogo.
- Salve e descompacte o arquivo do plugin dentro do diretório do Xbench, em geral C:\Program Files\ApSIC\Xbench.
- Feito isso, ao abrir o Xbench 2.9, você verá a opção Spellchecking no Check Group da aba QA e o grupo List of Checks mostrará o idioma instalado.
Pronto! Com os dicionários instalados, você verá a janela do Spell Checker quando clicar em Run QA com os arquivos de tradução carregados.
Verificação ortográfica no Xbench
A verificação ortográfica no Xbench é um processo de duas etapas. Primeiro abra a guia Spell Checker e rode a verificação. O Xbench exibe os possíveis erros de ortografia detectados na coluna Unknown Words.
Essa lista pode incluir estrangeirismos ou nomes próprios que não são necessariamente erros, portanto, verifique a lista com atenção. Caso apareçam erros reais, basta selecionar a linha e clicar na seta para mover o segmento para a coluna Real Misspellings. Assim, os erros vão ser registrados no relatório de QA. Em seguida, para corrigir os erros, acesse a ferramenta CAT, localize o segmento em questão e faça as alterações necessárias.
Você pode instalar dicionários de quantos idiomas forem necessários para o seu trabalho, mas apenas um idioma por vez pode ser selecionado.
