In 2019, Satsuma processed more than 2.5 million words in various projects covering software localization, technical documentation, marketing material, content generation, revision, quality control, translation for subtitles. This amount of text is equivalent to 47 copies of the Brazilian Federal Constitution or over three bible copies!

To meet the growing demand, Satsuma is always on the lookout for qualified professionals. Our focus is English to Portuguese translation, but other languages, such as Spanish — mainly the Latin American variants — French, German and Italian are also important. We require higher education in the relevant field, as well as proven translation or revision experience. In addition, our in-house employees and external associates also need to be proficient users of at least one CAT tool, such as SDL Trados Studio, Smartling, Memsource or XTM.
